Fritsche Middle School and P&H Mining Equipment are proud to announce that Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is coming here for the 2008-2009 school year.
Starting in September students will be able to take this new program as one of their FAVE (Fine Arts and Vocational Education) classes. Students will take this class in a brand new state-of-the-art digital classroom. The new room will have the latest computer technology, a projection and audio system for instruction as well as a large work area for the unique projects that PLTW students take part in.
What is PLTW? It is a program that takes math, science and technology and combines them in a unique project driven learning enviroment. In other words students get a taste of an engineering program through the use of advanced mathematics, various sciences and the latest in computer technology including computer aided design (CAD).
